Tip from Michel: "Measure twice, cut once. The drill hole distance (also known as center-to-center or pitch) is the distance from the center of one drill hole to the center of the other hole. If you're replacing existing handles, measure the current distance very accurately so that the new handle fits precisely into the existing holes."
